Guilty????

On page 140 Steve said..."Sunset admitted he did the crime. Isn't that what being guilty is all about? You actually do something?" Do you agree or disagree with Steve and why? Do you actually need to participate in anything criminal, illegal or morally wrong to feel guilty, or is knowledge of it just enough to feel guilty?

I agree with Steve because He did'nt do nothing and he's now fallen in to trouble. Steve just wanted some street credid but now he's loosing everything. If we fall in trouble we will fall guilty in someway.

i think that being guilty is doing something. however i also think that being guilty is leading the "crime" the people want to do. i think that you don't need to actually do anything to feel guilty.the knowledge is enough to make you feel like you did do the crime. this is why i disagree with Steve. lets take Steve as an example. he said okay to king. all he had to do was go in and look. i think that he did do that and that is why he is acting all weird and strange. he has a guilty conscience.he knows he helped with it. he knows that it is partly his fault that the man is dead. nothing can change the fact that it happened that way. whether he knew that was going to happen or not.

The Knowledge part is all that matters to feel guilty. You have to do something illeagal to feel guilty. In steves case he was feeling guilty because he wants others to know that he went in to the store got some "mints" and left, He pobably did more than just that. Steve wants to make himseld feel better but his conscience is controlling him.

I disagree with Steve because you could say you did a crime and not have done the crime. Also you do have to participate in any crime, illegal or morally wrong to feel guilty.

In my oppinion Steve is half correct. I feel this way because some do feel guilty if they do commit the crime or at least have knowledge of the crime and what was going to happen. However some people don't feel guilty at all for commiting a crime. So i basically agree with 826 in a way but i also kind of disagree with him/her(i dont kmow the correct gender) in a way. i agree because some feel guilty just with knowledge, it however can be the/have the opposite affect on a different person.

I dont get what your saying at all but....i think steve is right cause isnt that what gulity means but maybe the guy is just saying that to let the cass go and it will all go away or maybe the be is telling the turththat he did do it and steve is rigth caus eif you didnt do anything than why are you gulity!!

I disagree with Steve because he didn't commit the crime, but he knew who did. He didn't tell anyone so he was feeling guilty that he didn;t report who did it.

I agree with 8088. Being guilty is leading the "crime" the people want to do, which 8088 said.

No, i disagree with Steve Harmon because you don't need to participate in any criminal, illegal or morally wrong to feel guilty. Sometimes just knowledge of it is enough to make you feel guilty. For example, lets say someone told you they're going to rob a drug store and you go like ok. Until they killed someone, you'd have to feel guilty about that because you didn't know that that's going to happen but you'll know about it, and you didn't do anything about it. There are two types of criminals, the ones who commit the crime and the ones who knowws about it but doesnt do anything about it.

I totally agree with Steve because He didnt do anything to be guilty is to do not to what people think and being innocent is to do NOTHING so i totally agree with him

If your ''not guilty'' i know i would feel some sort of guilt if i was involve i would look guilty off course but fake to look perfectly fine so right now steve looks completly guilty

i think that steve is correct with what he said because first of all he didnt do anything but check if store was empty. All he wanted was street credit so he wont feel scard when coming home.

for yesterdays hw i forgot to put juror8086 its the one without a juror number is mine.

I agree wit juror 816 you don't need to commit a crime to feel guitly a accomplis can feel guity BECause he helped in the crime. Helping is already enough said to feel guilty and that is wat steve harmen did he is a acoomplis in helping James king rob a drug store

i diaagree with steve. because it is your opinion that are you guilty or not. you don't need to do anything that illegal or criminal to make you look or feel guilty. like steve, he thought about it and at first he said he did nothing, he is innocent. Then, he feel guilty because he help it out. this it just like you think you are innocent and in the other hand you think you are guilty because you thought you really did do something that invovled in it. he just know something in his deep heart saying that you are involved in it, which just like your knowledge. So i disagree with steve.

Once again I am very pleased to see that you are trying your best and really putting personal thought into your answers. Keep up the good work. I am very very proud of all of you.

steve is innocent. he didnt do anything. all he did was a lookout. but, he did participate in the crime. guilty of association. but your not technically guilty unless u have the evidence to prove u actually commited the crime. being guilty is doing something guilty. steve knows he commited part of the crime. he knew he gave the signal. but he did not commit the murder. knowledge does have an impact if u are guilty or not. its all in your mine of what you saw or heard.

I think that you don't need to do something bad to feel guilty.i think your conscience is just enought for you to know you actually did the crime. steve agreed to go into that store, and that just makes him automatictly guilty.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Steve Little because he helped with the robbery.

Anonymous said...

this is juror 817 by the way!!
well i dont agree with steve because just because sunset admitted he did the crime he still helped by looking out. And i do think that you have to do something bad to feel guilty because if you dont do anything bad why are you gonna feel guilty for!!!

yes knowledge is all you need to feel guilty

Anonymous said...

l disagree with steve beause tat not what guilty is all about guilty is having committed an offense, crime, violation, or wrong, esp. against moral or penal law; justly subject to a certain accusation or penalty that why l disagree with steve.

Yes, admitting to a crime means you are guilty because you know you commited it and you know you are going to get punished for it. You don't necesseraly feel guilty for participating in anything criminal, illegal or morally wrong. If you know that what you did is wrong than you feel guilty. If you don't care about it, you don't feel guilty. Knowledge of it depends on hoe you think about the crime.

Anonymous said...

i agree because he kind of did the crime because he told the guys its clear and plus even though he didn't do it, he still the member of the guys he told them it was clear. So he did the crime.

I belive that it is something criminal a good reason to be guilty, but as was it is steves fault and will take blame and gain charges cause of his presents. Also cause of n one being sre of ere was it that he really was.

Steve Harmon is guilty, unless there is proff that shows he's not the person responsible for the person killed.
